SWIM SCHOOL
We offer affordable swim lessons for primary and intermediate school-aged swimmers (beginner to advanced) in a heated, outdoor pool (25m). Our programmes range from water confidence to pre-competitive fitness training. Non-Cambridge Primary School families are warmly welcomed.
A swim school in the heart of Cambridge!
Swim lessons are 25 minutes once a week. All swimmers are placed in classes appropriate to their level. New swimmers are assessed in the week prior to classes starting to ascertain their level.
Our lessons are run in Term 1 and Term 4 of each year.
Our operating hours for Term 4, 2025 will be: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 3.00 pm until- 5.30 pm.
Registrations for Term 4, 2025 will be open 29th August 2025 - via Enrolmy.

All swim instructors have attended and completed the Swimming New Zealand Swim teacher award.

Please note the Four Peaks After School Care / Holiday Programme and Four Peaks Swim School are coordinated by different staff members.
Pool Keys
Cambridge Primary School sells keys to our school pool every summer.
The pool is available for use by key holders outside of school & swim school hours, on weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. The Pool opens on the first day of Term 4 (October) and closes near the end of Term 1 (April).
Keys cost $185 for the summer, including a $10 refundable bond. (price subject to change)
2025 / 2026 Summer
This cost covers the use of the pool between 6th October 2025 (week 1, Term 4) and 1st April 2026 (last week Term 1, 2026).
There are a limited number of keys available. Registrations for the 2025/2026 Summer are open. You can find more information, register, and pay for a key here.
If you have not had a pool key from CPS before you will be required to attend a CPS Pool induction session before receiving your key.
