Hi, I am Taryn Jago-Sutton and I am the Room 12 teacher in the Blake syndicate.
I love working at Cambridge Primary School as it is a wonderful school and provides students and staff with endless opportunities to succeed with fun, authentic learning.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family, gardening and exploring. I look forward to seeing you around the school.

I have been in the education sector for a number of years. Most of my experience has been in the junior school.
I love teaching at CPS as it has so much to offer students. Children have wonderful learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.

Providing a place where children are motivated, actively engaged, and take responsibility for their actions and learning, will be a central classroom focus. I enjoy a bright, contemporary learning environment where students can take risks, feel challenged and celebrate their successes.

I grew up in Cambridge, starting my teaching career here at Cambridge Primary School. This was followed by time teaching in the UK and travelling the world before returning to teach in New Zealand. I have experience across all year levels. I have a passion for learning through play and engaging my students in hands-on learning. By nurturing children’s interests and providing opportunities for individuals to share their ‘expertise’, encourages each student in my class to feel a sense of belonging.

I have two awesome young children, Olive and Marco. In my free time I enjoy yoga, spending time with friends and exploring our beautiful country with my family.
