Kia Ora! My name is Carmel Stock. I have been teaching for many years both in Australia and New Zealand. My children have grown up in Cambridge and I love the wonderful opportunities that children can have in the Cambridge Community. I look forward to working alongside you and your family at CPS.
I am the Hillary team leader and am thrilled to be working with an enthusiastic and dedicated group of teachers, and our Year 2/3 and 4 students. We look forward to sharing our love of learning with you throughout the year.
When I am not at school you will find me playing squash or tennis, walking my dogs or at the beach with my family.

Kia ora, my name is Anna O'Brien and I teach Year 3 and 4 students in the Hillary Syndicate.
I expect my students to believe in themselves and believe in others. Our classroom will be whaanau for the year, with everybody supporting each other's growth and learning. I personally love to learn, and feel passionate about empowering others in their learning too.
I spend my time outside of school with my three awesome children and our friends. We love getting outside for adventures! Before retraining as a teacher, I was a Chartered Accountant, working in New Zealand and the UK.
Teacher - Room 12 - Year 2 & 3
I have been in the education sector for a number of years. Most of my experience has been in the junior school.
I love teaching at CPS as it has so much to offer students. Children have wonderful learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
Providing a place where children are motivated, actively engaged, and take responsibility for their actions and learning, will be a central classroom focus. I enjoy a bright, contemporary learning environment where students can take risks, feel challenged and celebrate their successes.
Teacher - Room 8 - Year 3 & 4
Kia ora, my name is Amy Crawford and I have the pleasure of teaching Room 8 in the Hillary syndicate. I am excited to have begun my teaching journey here at Cambridge Primary School. CPS is a school with such character and an array of opportunities for the children and myself. I look forward to helping students grow and develop throughout the year.
In my spare time I love spending time with family and friends, getting outdoors to explore and travelling. I was lucky enough to spend time on an exchange teaching at a primary school in Vietnam. I have also travelled to India, Europe and Cambodia.
