Cambridge Primary School

Quality - Tradition – Innovation

We are delighted to launch our new reporting system, LINC-ED. This means our old system ‘e-Tap’ will no longer be utilised by Cambridge Primary School. The teachers have been posting rich content to our LINC-ED site, and we are excited to share this with you, thus enabling you to be more involved in your child’s learning journey.

Our aim has been to implement a robust system that allows teachers, parents, and students to access learning in a secure, easy, and effective online environment. LINC-ED commissioned Andrew Horton, an internet security expert, to review the LINC-ED security features. Andrew reported that the system was "as secure as some banks”.

LINC-ED allows teachers to share learning anytime, anywhere and on any device. We are excited about the potential this software offers. The new school report has been designed to build year on year. Over time you will have access to comments, assessments, images, video and helpful resources, all in one place.

Please note that this reporting now replaces the Cambridge Primary School formal mid and end of year reports. Every Term on LINC-ED, you will receive;

* 1 learning post, written by your child’s classroom teacher

* 1 Art’s post, written by your child’s Art’s teacher

* 2  learning samples. These samples may include evidence of learning such as photos, videos, your child’s writing etc.

As either a recognised parent/ caregiver to a CPS student,  please follow the steps on the next page. These steps will allow you to gain Parent Portal Access.
