At Cambridge Primary School we offer a range of sporting opportunities for children of all ages.

NETBALL

• Played in Terms 2 and 3.
  
• Year 3 to Year 6
  
• School provides uniform
• Player provides sneakers
  
• Junior netball available for Year 1 and 2 students, Wednesday afternoons Terms 2 & 3, $35.
• Year 3-4 Netball programme Saturday afternoons at Leamington courts Terms 2 & 3, $40.
• YEar 5-6 Netball programme Saturday mornings at Leamington courts  Terms 2 & 3, $45.

 RUGBY

• Played in Terms 2 and 3, Saturday Mornings at Memorial Park, Cambridge
  
• New Entrants to Year 6
  
• $40 per season
  
• School provides Uniform jersey
  
• Player provides Mouthguard, school sport socks and rugby boots
  
• Small selection of secondhand boots available from Marie at school
  
• Representative opportunities available for Year 5 & 6 players
  

HOCKEY

• Played in Terms 2 and 3, Friday afternoons at St Peters Private School
  
• Year 3 to Year 6
  
• $35 per season
  
• School provides hockey stick if required
  
• Player wears CPS PE Uniform, Mouthguard, School sport socks, sneakers and shin pads.
  
• SMALL STICKS programme available for New Entrants to Year 2
  
• Representative opportunities available for Year 6 players
  

MINIBALL (BASKETBALL)

• Played in Terms 1 and 4, Friday evenings at Cambridge High School Gym
  
• Year 5 and 6
  
• $30 per Term
  
• Player wears CPS PE Uniform and sneakers.
  
• Representative opportunities available for Year 6 players
  

TOUCH

• Played in Terms 1 and 4, Friday afternoons at St Peter’s Private School
  
• Year 3 to 6
  
• $12 per  Term
  
• Player wears CPS PE Uniform and sneakers.

Opportunities are available to Represent Cambridge Primary School in Interschool Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country. Senior students also participate in a Winter Sports day with other local schools. We also attend tournaments for a variety of sports. 

 

All CPS Sports teams require coaches, managers, referees and umpires to assist the team. All required equipment and support is given to these volunteers.
