Future Projects
The Board is always forward planning and we have 2 projects of significance that have been tagged for the next 18 months. The first is an upgrade of the school frontage.
Front Boundary Upgrade
As with all programmes and projects we undertake our Motto (Quality Tradition Innovation) is fundamental to our thinking. This new project has a budget of approximately $20,000 which will come from the Ministry of Educations 5 Year Property money. It will give the school a clean front boundary while also creating additional off street parking for our parents by getting all staff cars off the roads.
We are hoping to involve our parent community and the children within aspects of the project. The time frame for completion of this project is by April 2012.
Next Classroom
The second project will be the building of an additional classroom in the senior school area. There is a bulge of children coming up through the school at the moment sitting in the Years NE- Year 2 areas. The Board wishes to have adequate classrooms available for these children in the coming years. The most likely time for this classroom to be built will be 2013. This classroom will be funded through role growth by the Ministry of Education. This will be the last classroom built for the foreseeable future.
