Getting Started - The Lexile Test
Students all registered to online site
Sit Lexile Test: 20-40 multiple choice questions
checking comprehension of passages from books
Test provides student with individual "Lexile
Level"
Students then print individualised book list -
within Lexile range and their interests
Reading Mileage and Book Quiz
Students read a book
Revisit website and complete comprehension check -
a "Book Quiz" of 10 multi-choice questions
Score 70% or more, receive points
Points build and rewards used to encourage students
to continue to read.
